Underneath

How humans behave is very intriguing – we often say things when we really mean something else, we hide things, we talk and read in between lines, we imply things, we say something to elicit a response and judge the person by that response and sometimes we just remain silent and leave the silence open to interpretations!

And, if this wasn’t enough, when someone doesn’t understand us, we complain.

I have come to believe two things - that what a person ‘says’ is just the tip of the ice-berg and the rest of the ice-berg is difficult to understand.

Actions are visible, while motives are secret (Samuel Johnson, English author). Motives lie underneath, deep within the mind, buried.
